About

Course Learning Outcomes This first-year Chinese course for beginners contributes to the following core objectives: critical thinking, communication (visual and oral), and social responsibility. Therefore, after finishing this course, you will be able to: ● Identify the differences of each Chinese zhuyin (Taiwan) and pinyin (China) sounds and tones. ● Understand some simple vocabulary utterances on the topics related to activities of daily living. ● Read and recognize the alphabet/pronunciation forms of Chinese pinyin and zhuyin systems. ● Write and pronounce simple words and short sentences on the topics related to activities of daily living. ● Demonstrate appropriate cultural understanding and awareness.
